Quantitative Filter Forensics

Filters from HVAC systems in buildings tell a story about the particulate contaminants in the air. Quantitative filter forensics combines HVAC characterization with physical, chemical, and biological analysis of dust that accumulates on filters. The results provide insight on human exposure to particle-bound contaminants, the dynamics of filter performance, and indoor air quality in buildings.
