Goal Statement: Give students confidence that they can overcome barriers to getting involved in research.

Learning Outcome: Students who participate will be able to detail at least three (3) co-curricular and academic resources to help them explore opportunities in research.

Description: African Black Caribbean, Latin American, Southeast Asian and First Generation students discuss research with involved upper year student Mentor Navigators and relatable professors from a variety of disciplines. This event will include perspectives on: how to demystify research and why this experience is important for undergrads; wayfinding and tips for preparing applications; and the demand for equitable access to opportunities. Presentation, faculty panel and Q&A, breakout rooms – bring your questions!
