With over 55 years of experience, BGE delivers integrated indoor air quality solutions that combine filtration products, technical services, and IAQ expertise.

Meet the Speaker:
Roberta MacGillivray is Executive Director, co-owner, and second-generation leader of BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions Ltd. She is passionate about clean indoor air. For 55+ years, BGE has helped organizations protect occupants through air-filtration products & solutions, controlled-environment testing, and IAQ guidance. In 2024, BGE acquired Con-Test, Canada’s leader in Controlled Environment Testing. Today, BGE including the Con-Test services division employs 285+ people across Canada.

Roberta holds a BCom from the University of Alberta and built her career in IT and HR. She served on NAFA’s (National Air Filtration Association) board, including as President in 2022, and holds NAFA Certified Air Filtration Specialist (CAFS) and NAFA Certified Technician (NCT) credentials. A Quantum Shift alumna (Western University), she mentors entrepreneurs through Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Service (TIVMS), serves on the Alberta School of Business Advisory Council, and is a member of the Business Council of Alberta.

Rooted in Alberta, Roberta enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, curling, and lake time with her husband & business partner, Ian, and daughters Ella and Reese.
