PFAS and COVID-19 surveillance in potable reuse
Pathogen removal for recycled water programs

Eva Steinie Darling, PhD, PE
Bradley Schmitz, PhD
George D. Di Giovanni, PhD
Keisuke Ikehata, PhD, PE, PEng

These experts will shine light on 1) whether PFAS in potable reuse is a crisis or non-issue, 2) wastewater-based epidemiology for COVID-19 surveillance and implications to potable reuse, and 3) pathogen removal for MWD’s Regional Recycled Water Program. The OWWA SC at U of T invites you to join us for a webinar hosted by AWWA’s Research Committee on Thursday, May 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom featuring a panel of leading researchers who will highlight state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of potable water reuse.

During the webinar, you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge on potable reuse research along with other students and young professionals in the water industry through interactive polls. Once you register, you will be entered in a raffle draw for a chance to receive a prize!

Instructions and links to the event will be sent to registered attendees. To register, you must have an AWWA membership.
