Mariana Pinheiro Harvey
Mariana Pinheiro Harvey is the General Manager of Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Operation, where she is responsible for the safe operation of the underground mine and mill, and oversees the site’s technical, environmental, and regulatory functions. A University of Toronto Mineral Engineering graduate, Mariana built a strong operational foundation early in her career through hands‑on underground experience and technical work across key functions including operations, ventilation, ground control, drill and blast, planning, and scheduling. She later advanced into senior technical leadership as Chief Mine Engineer and Manager of Technical Services before stepping into the GM role in 2024. Known for her people‑first and purposeful leadership style, Mariana draws on both deep operational insight and strong technical discipline to build high‑trust teams, foster growth, and drive meaningful impact in the workplace and the broader community.

Anthony Vaccaro
As President of The Northern Miner Group, Anthony has overall responsibility for some of the mining industry’s most distinguished media brands including: The Northern Miner, Canadian Mining Journal and MINING.com. Anthony holds the CFA designation, has an MBA in Investment Management and serves on the board of The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
