Engineering Summer Internship Program
- Students are available for 4 month internships, from May to August
- Open to all eligible second and third year full-time engineering students
- Employers may be eligible for up to $3,000 in tax incentives

Professional Experience Year internship
- Students are available for 12 – 16 month internships
- Students willing to relocate
- The internships can start between May and September and end between May and September of the following year
- Typically, students complete a Professional Experience Year between their third and fourth years of study
- Students work full-time during their internship. They will not be enrolled in core classes during this time, and may only enroll in electives at the discretion of their supervisor and program director
- Employers are required to complete 2 evaluations with feedback and performance assessments for the students
- Employers spend less on training since the internship period is longer with less turnover than traditional co-op programs
- All Professional Experience Year positions are paid
- Employers may be eligible for up to $3,000 in tax incentives

MEng in Cities Engineering & Management Practicum (4 months in the summer, paid)
- 4-month paid internship typically from May-August
- Employers are eligible for up to $3000 in tax incentives
- Students contribute their skills, knowledge and training from day one
- Students have at least one year of professional experience, technical expertise in infrastructure and a fundamental understanding of the issues facing cities
- Students return to school for one term with a flexible schedule, following the practicum, allowing for longer-term hires
- Students willing to relocate
