Value and Duration: $10,000 top-up (renewable for a total of 4-5 years*)

Application Requirements:

Have a complete graduate admission application in the online graduate admissions application system (including all components on your checklist).  Those with a complete admission application by the deadline above are automatically considered for the award.

Required Legal Status: Domestic

Application Requirements:

  • By the application deadline listed above:
    • have a complete graduate admission application in the online graduate admissions application system (including all components on your checklist)
    • submit to admissions.civmin@utoronto.ca:
      • A brief bio describing the following (one page max)
        • Background information, such as your ties to Atlantic Canada, recreational activities you enjoy, awards you have received; and
        • Academic interests and why you are excited about them; and
        • What you hope to accomplish through graduate school education.
      • Statement highlighting your demonstrated commitment to ongoing community service (please highlight recent and planned contributions; one page max).
