CivMin Researchers on cleaning and protecting our most valuable resource
Most Canadians have unlimited access to clean drinking water, but that’s a privileged existence unknown to billions of other people living on this planet.
And if you don’t have to think about where your water comes from or what’s in your water, then life is easy—but it might not be that way forever.
Fortunately, there are many brilliant minds right here at University of Toronto who are not only studying what’s in our water, but who are also looking at new and innovative ways of cleaning or recycling it.
For World Water Day, we spoke with several faculty members who are engineering new solutions to preserve and protect our most precious resource.
