On Wednesday, May 29, GradSWE is hosting an Elevator Pitch workshop, led by Professor Lydia Wilkinson.
🚀 Mastering the Elevator Pitch:
Crafting an elevator pitch for your research is key to building your network, attracting collaborators, and showcasing the value of your project. However, conveying complex research persuasively in a concise format can be challenging. In this session, Professor Lydia Wilkinson will guide you through identifying and articulating the key points of your research, helping you make your message clear and persuasive for both technical and non-technical audiences.
👩🏫 About Our Workshop Leader:
Lydia Wilkinson is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the Institute for Studies in Transdisciplinary Engineering Education and Practice (ISTEP) and the Engineering Communication Program (ECP) at UofT. With over a decade of experience, she has been instrumental in developing transdisciplinary competencies, including communication skills, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
