Message from the Chair

Congratulations are in order to Professor Azhari and Professor Ghafghazi on the birth of their baby girl, Emilia Gordia born on October 21st. Mom and baby are healthy and doing well. Best wishes on behalf of the Department!

On another celebratory note, our CivMin Scholarship Reception will be taking place on Wednesday, November 8th. I’d like to congratulate all of our student recipients! Their hard work and high achievements continue to show the future promise and growth of our industry. We look forward to celebrating with students, parents and faculty as well as taking the opportunity to thank our donors for their generosity and support.
