The Better Buildings Boot Camp (BBBC) is an opportunity for diploma and graduate students from a variety of disciplines and institutions to collaborate with a cross section of sustainable building professionals and other students passionate about better buildings. This year’s program will focus on a deep energy retrofit of the Rehabilitation Sciences Building, 500 University Avenue (right here at U of T!) with the goal of achieving net positive environmental and human outcomes. Last year, two U of T students took home $1,000 White Paper awards as part of the Boot Camp.
This program was created with input from sustainable building subject matter experts and faculty from Carleton University, George Brown College, Seneca College, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Toronto, and York University.
The program will be held virtually online via Zoom, and consist of plenary sessions, panel discussions, and group activities, Monday – Friday, May 13 – 17 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. EST. The program is FREE and spaces are limited.
The application deadline is Friday, March 1, 2024.
